Holiday Lights

For Google's Made w/Code we partnered with the White House to create 'Holiday Lights,' an interactive installation and website for the 92nd Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at President's Park in Washington, D.C. This initiative invited young women to code their own animations, which were then displayed in real-time on 56 Christmas trees, each representing a U.S. state or territory. Launched by President Obama, the project received millions of submissions, with participants traveling nationwide to see their designs illuminated. The event was broadcast on PBS and YouTube Live, running for six weeks throughout the holiday season.
