Red Roster
A marketplace for original AI characters, sold as reference packs for AI filmmakers.

Red Roster is a web marketplace where AI artists sell original characters, environments and worlds as downloadable reference packs - imagery, prompts and trait sheets that let filmmakers cast consistent characters in their own generative-video work.
Cast from the roster
Each listing is a production-ready pack: a gallery, a file manifest, clear licence terms, and - when the seller ships one - a reproducibility panel with the exact prompts and model specs behind the character. One-of-one editions sell once, then come off the wall.
A three-sided marketplace
Buyers check out through Stripe in their local currency and keep a permanent library with unlimited re-downloads. Sellers claim a handle, publish through a section-based composer - the listing page, file manifest and download zip are all generated from the same typed sections - and get paid through Stripe Connect on an 80/20 split. An admin console covers the roster, sellers, sales and analytics.
Under the hood
Next.js and Postgres on Neon, with media on Cloudflare R2: every upload is re-encoded through Sharp, watermarked for public previews while clean originals sit in a private bucket, and downloads are ownership-gated. The whole app also runs with zero infrastructure from an in-repo seed catalog.
