Changdeok Arirang
AR tour of a Seoul UNESCO heritage site.
We collaborated with SK Telecom, Google, and the Cultural Heritage Administration to create 'Changdeok ARirang,' an augmented reality tour of Seoul's UNESCO World Heritage site, Changdeok Palace. Guided by the mythical creature Haechi, visitors engage in 12 interactive activities, including archery with a Joseon Prince and learning traditional dances.
Selected work
Utilizing 360-degree volumetric capture, we brought 18th-century Joseon court members to life, ensuring cultural authenticity through consultation with experts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we released an 'At Home' version, allowing global audiences to experience the palace virtually, leading to over 247,000 downloads. This project was recognized with a Webby Award in the Art, Culture, and Events category.
